Toto EcoPower Flush Valves

The integral, miniature, hydroelectric system keeps the rechargeable manganese dioxide lithium back-up battery topped off and provides the primary operating power (which is stored in a set of capacitors between uses). To optimize electrical use, Toto’s self-calibrating sensor system remembers use patterns, decreasing the detection pulse frequency during off-peak hours. Though designed for at least ten uses per day, a charge is maintained with as few as five. At 150 flushes per month, a nine-year maintenance-free battery lifespan is expected; with twice as much use, up to 16 years can be achieved.
