Sloan Uppercut Dual-Flush Flushometer Valve

Dual-flush technology, which provides water savings in some gravity-flush (primarily residential) toilets in North America, is now available for commercial applications. The Sloan Valve Company has just introduced the Uppercut™ flushometer, with a dual-flush handle for liquid or solid wastes. Pull the handle up to flush liquid wastes (and paper), or push it down to flush solid wastes. The flushometer uses 1.6 gallons (6 liters) of water for each standard flush and 1.1 gallons (4 liters) for each water-saving flush.
