Energy and Performance in Thermally Preserved Wood

In April 2008, a new company with a manufacturing facility in Kingston, New Hampshire, began production of chemical-free preserved wood products, using thermal modification. Cambia by Greenleaf is the result of a partnership between PCI Industries (makers of Perdure thermally modified wood, made and sold in Canada) and Northland Forest Products, and will compete with PureWood in the U.S. market (see EBN Vol. 17, No. 3).
