LEED projects can earn a point for developing and implementing a plan to manage indoor air quality during construction that includes: recommendations from the Sheet Metal and Air Conditioning National Contractors Association (SMACNA), protecting absorptive materials from moisture damage, using high-efficiency air filters on any air handlers used during construction, and replacing filtration media just before occupancy.
