All adhesives and sealants used indoors have to comply with the thresholds established by South Coast Air Quality Management District (SCAQMD) Rule 1168 and Green Seal Standard GS-36 (for aerosol adhesives). In LEED for Schools this is part of a composite point including credits 4.1 through 4.6; all of these except 4.5 reference the California Department of Health Services standard used by CHPS and Spec section 01350.
