Thermal comfort conditions in the space have to conform with the criteria in ASHRAE Standard 55. LEED for design and construction projects have to design and install systems to provide this level of comfort. LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance projects have to monitor their spaces to ensure that they meet the requirements.
