Schools can earn this point by avoiding water-wasting cooling systems and garbage disposals, and by installing water-conserving appliances, such as: clothes washers, dishwashers, ice machines, steamers, and pre-rinse spray valves. Projects other than schools may be able to earn an Innovation and Design credit using these guidelines.
