Projects earn a point for creating a stormwater management flow that generates no more runoff after development than before development, unless pre-development runoff was high, in which case it has to be reduced. Protecting receiving streams from erosion can also contribute to earning the point. In LEED-EBOM at least 15% of rain from a design-case storm must be prevented from running off the site.
