Written by green building consultant and LEED Accredited Professional Timothy Moore, this is the first published guide to the LEED Rating System that thoroughly prepares readers for the LEED-NC v2.2 exam, released in late 2006 (newer versions have kept it up to date with changes in LEED-NC v2.2). Although geared for the test, which is in turn geared for LEED, the book transcends those subjects and is a savvy guide to building green with LEED and integrated design.
Most readers, however, are likely to buy it for the full-length LEED-NC practice exam, which includes detailed explanations with its answer key, or for the 20-question LEED-EB and LEED-CI sample quizzes. These practice exams are both more detailed and more challenging than the actual LEED exam, making them good preparation for the exam. If you can answer a respectable number of these questions correctly, and understand the answers on the ones you get wrong, you are likely in good shape to do the real thing.
