Living Future '09: Cultivating Leadership

Living Future, the Unconference for deep green professionals, is the Cascadia Region Green Building Council’s annual signature event focused on cutting-edge green design solutions. This year’s theme is “Cultivating Leadership,” with a focus on providing industry leaders and emerging leaders with the skills they need to be effective in the movement to create a truly sustainable built environment. Keynote speakers include Janine Benyus, internationally acclaimed author of Biomimicry: Innovation Inspired by Nature; Rick Fedrizzi, President and CEO of USGBC; Thomas Crum, renowned conflict resolution expert; and Jason McLennan, CEO of Cascadia Region Green Building Council. Cascadia is the largest Chapter of both the U.S. and Canada Green Building Councils; major initiatives include the Living Building Challenge and the Pharos Project.
