Green Remodeling

Explore the global environmental context for green building, and receive a step-by-step primer in building science — including site, envelope, thermal and moisture protection, mechanicals, lighting, renewables, and air quality — and the challenges and opportunities these present in the context of remodeling. Students will gain an understanding of the materials and procedures for maximizing energy efficiency and re-creating spaces that are healthy and comfortable, and how professionals can sell those services to clients.
