EcoProcura 2012, 19-21 September 2012, Malmö, Sweden The EcoProcura 2012 conference, held from 19 to 21 September 2012 in Malmö, south Sweden, will address the question of "New opportunities to deliver sustainable procurement and innovation". The enormous potential of public procurement is continuously gaining recognition as a new policy tool to support the shift towards a resource-efficient and socially responsible society. The eighth edition of the EcoProcura conference series will bring together procurers from all levels of government, policy-makers, suppliers, manufacturers, multipliers and representatives from the European Commission and European Parliament. The conference will focus what the latest legislation, strategies, guidance and practical solutions mean to public authorities implementing sustainable public procurement.
