Petra Axlund

As the Communications Associate, Petra works closely with both the marketing and editorial teams at BuildingGreen. Whether it is creating posts on Instagram, analyzing metrics, editing feature articles or writing news briefs.

Petra has a background in journalism, digital marketing and social media. She has a BA in journalism and media communications from the University of Stockholm, and a degree in Digital marketing from the University of Vermont. Previously she was full time journalist for some of the largest newspapers and magazines in Sweden, writing about news, travel, fitness and health. After moving to the US in 2006, she combined writing and digital marketing with a career as an ERYT-500h yoga teacher and meditation coach, and founding her own yoga jewelry business.

She recently moved to an old farmhouse in Vernon, VT from Connecticut with her husband and four cats.
