Hospitality
Hotels, convention centers, and similar spaces have unique energy, water, and moisture-management challenges as well as significant impacts from purchasing and waste management. They also have the challenge of working with a transient and varied occupant population.
The most successful approach to these issues will be to address them in an integrative process throughout design, construction, and operations. We look at some of the sustainability issues associated with the hospitality industry and offer strategies for resolving them, while also addressing the potential financial benefits of doing so.
