Separett Villa

Separett Villa is a Swedish-made, waterless urine-separating composting toilet distributed in the U.S. by Ecovita. This toilet contains a compartment in the front of the bowl to capture urine and a larger one in back to capture solids. A fan, available in 110V and 12V models, dries the solid waste. Urine comprises ¾ of human waste: by keeping it away from the solids, the solids dry more quickly—leading to better composting and less odor. The urine can be leached, drained, or used as fertilizer (urine contains most of the nitrogen and half the phosphorous contained in domestic wastewater), though use as fertilizer may be illegal in some parts of the U.S. The Separette Villa is 25" deep and 18" wide with a sitting height of 22", including fan case, and comes standard with three solid waste/compost containers, ten solid waste bags, vent pipe, and other installation supplies.
