Samsung Electronics manufactures 40-pint/day dehumidifiers that significantly exceed EPA’s Energy Star standards. Removing 1.85 liters/kWh of water from the air, these units can operate at temperatures as low as 38 degrees F. They come with a washable air filter, direct-drain option (hose not included), a two-speed fan, and a timer that shuts the unit off after three, six, or twelve hours if activated. Samsung provides a one-year warranty on parts and labor and a five-year limited warranty on the compressor.
