Amanda Farman

Amanda is BuildingGreen's Peer Networks Administrator, working behind the scenes to support the Peer Networks team and members. They are passionate about sustainable design and love helping people find tangible ways to help the planet.

Prior to joining BuildingGreen in 2023, Amanda was a Campaigns Coordinator at a food justice organization. They have a background in research, writing, and youth education. Amanda has also been a caretaker at two rescue farmed animal sanctuaries. They hold a B.A. in Sociology from Wesleyan University.

Amanda lives in Philadelphia and loves spending time with humans and other animals. In their spare time, they enjoy painting, hiking, and making music.
