Andrea Lemon

Design Director

Andrea first became familiar with BuildingGreen in 2010 when she and her husband moved to Vermont and built their own passive house from the ground up. BuildingGreen’s president Nadav Malin heard about the project and asked if the staff could take a tour, and the rest is history. She joined the BuildingGreen team part-time in 2011 to work on website design and marketing, and then came on staff full-time in 2013.

Since then, she has played an integral role in the website development team’s work to re-design and re-launch BuildingGreen.com. She has also re-designed LEEDuser, with a focus on improving functionalities such as the popular discussion forums. Andrea also writes website copy and contributes spoof articles to The BuildingGreen Report’s annual April Fool’s Day Issue.

A website generalist, Andrea’s training includes Drupal, HTML and CSS. She enjoys collaborating with the marketing, editorial, and website development teams to create attractive and highly functional websites.

When she’s not working, Andrea loves to knit and ski. She lives with her husband in their passive house in Brattleboro, Vermont.
