Jerelyn Wilson has a B.S. in Education from the University of Maryland, and she received graduate training as a Waldorf teacher and taught at the NYC Rudolf Steiner School. Since 1983, in Brattleboro, Vermont, Jerelyn has been active in raising a family and volunteering her skills for local organizations. She is currently serving on the Selectboard for the Town of Dummerston and as a board member of the Brattleboro Food Co-op.
Jerelyn began working at BuildingGreen in 2001 as a marketing associate. Her role has evolved as the company has grown, including a period of time as human resources director. Currently Jerelyn is BuildingGreen’s Outreach Director and specifically responsible for sales and retention of the company’s enterprise customers. She is particularly grateful for the opportunity to promote information resources that help architects and builders use more sustainable building practices and products, because as she sees it, transforming the building industry is a big step toward a more sustainable future for our planet. Hiking and wilderness canoeing are her favorite pastimes.
