Hello all!

I'm new to the group, and so excited to be here. Two part question here (as we think about processes and new year goals).

We used to have some GBES resources, but those are intended to be person-... Read more

Last year I was approached by Green Advantage, remember them from like 2005? There has been a LEED innovation credit for as long as I can remember.

Has anyone seen employed Green Advantage recently? Is anyone asking for it?

Do you see value in GCs/CMs/trades having this training... Read more

Hi there SD Leaders,

We're running an LCA on one of our projects that's about to start construction that has had serious embodied carbon goals and I got a result that really surprised me. I haven't been able to find any obvious/glaring issues with the work, but these results are strange enough that I'm not feeling confident. I'm hoping... Read more

Hello SDL!

Has anyone set "Ecosystem Benefits/Service" targets for an individual project or for all their projects? I was previously against the idea of even measuring ecosystem benefits but I've had my mind changed in recent months!

Currently we want to set a target for every project to: "Improve ecosystem benefits on every site... Read more

It may take hundreds or thousands of years to return to pre-industrial-age levels of atmospheric carbon dioxide, but the loss of animal and plant species that is occurring today is, practically speaking, irreversible. Dear SDL: Thanks to all who have already given their support to the AIA Resolution on Urgent and Sustained Climate Action. We're into the final push of getting out the vote to pass the resolution next Wednesday, June 5th afternoon in Las Vegas. Good Afternoon!

has anyone heard of this?  the program focuses on healthcare construction but i think it would be good for all construction sites to have a certified individual.  And for those of us that report to CDP, this would be a good risk management strategy to include.
