Hi all,
Has anyone been able to find alternatives to vinyl window film products? I can find solutions for wall coverings, but am not having much luck when it comes to window films. Any leads or insight would be really helpful!
Thank you!
Amanda

Hello SCL! We are excitedly planning for a return to in-person SCL Summits. The overwhelming majority of wallcoverings are flexible vinyl, laden with all the life-cycle concerns that come with PVC. Products used to contain orthophthalate plasticizers—which make up a large percentage of these products. Phthalates are not bound in the material and can slough off in dust, exposing occupants during everyday work or play.... Read more

I know of CLF’s 2017 Benchmark Study (great resource!) and the One-Click LCA study on European Buildings but are there any others? I know many... Read more

I believe a while back there was communication about a hard hat recycling program. Does anyone have any information about a hard hat recycling program? Hello everyone,
We are far too often asked to include parking in our buildings (because why shouldn't the average family have 2.1 kids, .8 pets, and 3 cars) and it always grates on me that we are putting so many resources (natural and monetary) into something that is almost certainly single use and will need to be demolished in 30 years...
