Hi all,

I'm curious if anyone has insight as to the "New Federal Building Performance Standards" that were announced in May of 2021 and then referenced again when E.O. 14057 came out. The memorandum for heads of agencies that was sent out with E.O. 14057 said that the CEQ would issue these standards, but I can't find a commitment to when... Read more

Hi gurus,

Do any of you have preferred portable devices for indoor air quality monitoring? I know it's hard to find apples to apples, but ideally temperature, CO2, VOC, PM2.5, PM5 would be on the list. Mid-level accuracy - better than consumer, not as $ as IAQ professional level. Thanks!

The overwhelming majority of wallcoverings are flexible vinyl, laden with all the life-cycle concerns that come with PVC. Products used to contain orthophthalate plasticizers—which make up a large percentage of these products. Does anyone have a draft copy of the ASHRAE 209P standard? It has not been finalized? See an overview of it here from IBPSA 2016 summer meeting.

The 209 committee plans to release it for a 3rd public review and hopes to finalize it in late winter or early spring. I'm just trying to track down one of the earlier verisons of the document... Read more

We just had a planning call for the tour, and I’m more convinced than before that: a) we picked a great location for this year’s Winter Summit and b) you won’t want to miss this tour!

Are you familiar with examples of commercial kitchens using all induction / all electric cooking, without gas or other fossil fuels?

For a dining hall for 1800 students, we are interested in precedents.

Thanks!
