Dear all,
A mechanical engineer on a healthcare project we are working on has asked for help in dividing the ventilation calculations between ASHRAE Standards 170 and 62.1; can anyone here help shed some light on it?
"This is the first time I am working on LEED for a hospital and I am not sure how the template wants me to show... Read more

Does anyone have an opinion of Autocase? https://autocase.com/
I had not heard of this platform before. Their website says that some firms in the group are customers / users. Website does not do a great job of describing exactly what they do. Is there value?
Thanks,
Allen

“We’re required to be LEED Silver, but we’re not sure how to get there under the new rating system.”
“Sure, we’re interested in LEED, as long as it doesn’t cost extra.”

I have a colleague (lawyer) who is trying to assemble a list of precedent projects that used penalties or incentives for achieving energy targets. The topic she is addressing is how contracts may be changed to address growing climate change concerns.

Perhaps most notably, she was a co-author of the Adaptive Thermal Comfort option in ASHRAE... Read more

Hi folks,
There was a lot of interest on the call yesterday in the article that Kim showed from a host of leading IAQ experts. I was not able to find a legal way to get a copy that we can share, so if you want it I think it would be appropriate to either pay the $30 for the article (one-day access ??) or $79 for a one-year AAAS... Hello SD Leaders!
I recently joined and looking forward to all the amazing dialog. I was told that for membership to be official, I must reveal my unsustainable secret.
