Team,
What are the M vs. E vs. P(FP) ratios of fee distribution you use in your company for a commercial office building? How about a residential/hotel?
Best,

We just heard from one of our more progressive clients that they are pulling Mohawk from their shelves and are no longer allowing it on their projects. Apparently there are some chemical ingredients they objected to, but more importantly the manufacturer "lied" to the client about the content. Does anyone have an idea what this might be about?... Following my retirement from BuildingGreen, I’m also looking to retire from the nonprofit Resilient Design Institute, which I’ve been leading since 2012. My default plan is to sunset the organization in the fall of 2024, but I wanted to offer the idea of someone (or multiple people) taking over the organization.

KoalaKare, the predominate manufacturer, includes Microban in both their plastic and stainless steel product options. We're wrapping up a multi year project that went through multiple design changes, leaving us with a ton of material samples. Does anyone know of a good place we could donate these samples to, to keep them out of the landfill. I'm in the greater Seattle area. Thank you for any suggestions.

Hi folks,
I’m sure most of you know Gail Brager, or at least know of her. For those who don’t, she helps run UC Berkeley’s Center for the Built Environment and is a long-time champion of all the things that make buildings work for their occupants. Perhaps most notably, she was a co-author of the Adaptive Thermal Comfort option in ASHRAE... Read more
