We've been doing some work gathering actual energy data on our recent projects. (In January we actually issued a report on 21 public buildings ).

One of the biggest issues is getting access to the actual data - many clients don't want to share.

Has anyone crafted proposal or contract language allowing/requiring design team... Read more

Hello, what acceptable levels of air quality are you using to evaluate natural ventilation strategies for your projects?  In our Living Building we only open windows when PM10, PM2.5, etc. are within LBC and WELL limits.  In a seasonally smoggy urban environment, this limits how often we can utilize natural ventilation even if the outside... Hi all,

I am working on a Div 01 sustainability spec section for our firm to include by default on all projects. I've been finding a lot of great sample language out there for embodied carbon measures and material transparency (huge thanks to anyone here who had a part in developing those resources).

One thing I'd like to include... Read more

Covering up the sun on a natural body of water and adding electrical wiring seems like a bad idea. I am curious though if others have heard of this technology and have other (unbiased) ideas...
