Hive mind,
We recently learned that 3M has discontinued the production of their 3M Daylight Redirecting Film (https://www.3m.com/3M/en_US/building-window-solutions-us/solutions/dayli...). This product was selected by an architecture client last year as the optimal daylight/glare control strategy for a school project, and we're assisting... Read more

Has anyone had any success with achieving the LEED Building Envelope commissioning points with an alternative compliance path using the requirements of the PHIUS verifier? It seems like an unnecessary duplication to ask the client to pay for a BECx agent and a Passive House verifier. Or am I missing something? I can't find any LEED... Read more

Hello. Has anyone tackled "tracking emissions from all company-purchased cloud computing" yet? This is in the best category for CC 2.0 and wanted to ask.
How "deep" did you go?
This was an interesting read, but still left me a little confused about how far I need to go and even what questions to ask:

I am not a member of IDEA but utilize their site quite often. Any other resources come to mind? I'd be happy to... Read more

Hi, all.
Has anyone used Unicel's Timber Curtain Wall System? It uses engineered glulam wood mullions on the inside with aluminum mullion caps / butt joints. Has anyone gotten close to using it, but couldn't get it procured for a particular reason? They note up to 72% more energy efficienct than a conventional aluminum curtain wall and... Read more

Hi, this is a somewhat niche/specific question - we are working on an all-electric school (middle and high school) that includes a chemistry lab. The lab was going to have portable sources for flame experiments, but there is concern that the portable sources would be unsafe for middle school students, so they are asking for a hard-pipe natural... There are so many great contractor-related sessions at Greenbuild this year! I doubt I'm alone in trying to choose between sessions.
Is there interest in debriefing with SCLers the week after (say Novemeber 9th at 2pm ET?). We could share the golden nuggets from the sessions we attended, saving everyone from wading through the session... Read more
