Hey All!
One of the initiatives from our first meeting in Chicago was to gather and develop resources related to plug and process loads in buildings which will help us all with: energy modeling, equipment sizing and power distribution. I was recently asked if there is a way to quantify financially what one MT eCO2 might be worth in the context of a building owner reducing their own carbon emissions. How do you put a dollar value on those reductions? Does anyone have experience with that or can you point me to the correct resource to answer this question?

Has anyone heard of floating solar technology? I can't think of an application other than covering power plant retention or agricultural waste lagoons. Covering up the sun on a natural body of water and adding electrical wiring seems like a bad idea. I am curious though if others have heard of this technology and have other (unbiased) ideas... Hi,
I imagine you've already considered this, but I wanted to mention it before you cross the point of no return...
The name "BIT Building" has the potential to be misunderstood out of context because it sounds like it has something to do with Bitcoin. I don't think this is a huge problem, but you may want to evaluate the risk... Read more
