Hi Green Gurus,
We have a lot going on this week, and I know it’s hard to keep track of everything, so I’m providing this quick update.
Conveniently, we have also just launched the new Peer Networks Hub on BuildingGreen.com, with a Calendar page where you can see all upcoming events (and a link to recordings of past events). You... Read more

Hey all,
At the retreat, many of you spoke to me about wanting to learn more about our Foundations Resilience event in Houston in November. As it happens, our website just went live and I thought that I would share it with the whole group. Registration (for those interested) will be up and running very soon, but this should give you a... Our building scientist has been using Insight 360 to model daylight and document it for LEED certifications. However, it appears that Autodesk is no longer fully supporting the tool and may eventually stop all together. (we have not been able to run simulations for weeks due to a change to how "cloud credits" work on their end that they... Read more

Hello all,
Does anybody know of a substitute for Ecotect's solar tool? I use it to very quickly test shade options and I love how I can easily test horizontal and vertical elements, tilting and rotating them. I can have a window with the façade on one side and the sun path with the shadow mask on the other side. It is easy to use and... Read more

Thanks!

We just heard from one of our more progressive clients that they are pulling Mohawk from their shelves and are no longer allowing it on their projects. Apparently there are some chemical ingredients they objected to, but more importantly the manufacturer "lied" to the client about the content. Does anyone have an idea what this might be about?... Hi All,
Polling the group to see if anyone has experience with Simergy - an e+ based modeling tool?
The tool appears to have features and integration with a lot of e+ plugins that make it attractive - but i haven't heard of its widespread use.
Is anyone successfully using Simergy?

There are a number of SDL and other peer network folks talking about a potential casual meet up in association with Living Future 24 (next week in ATL).
In the interest of Julie McCoy-ing this thing into being ...
