Greetings, SDL network - We are attempting to resolve an issue with how data center projects calculate baseline EUIs for the AIA 2030 Commitment and could use some help from this network. With projects that comply with code prescriptively (i.e. not energy modeled), we have found the default baseline assumptions within the DDx platform are not... Read more

Hi All,
I will be catching up on learning units over Thanksgiving weekend and I am wondering if anyone else is experiencing the challenge of credential maintenance of their CPHD? Ideally we would have a client go for Passive House accreditation on a project, but lacking that, how are folks maintaining their 20 credits per year? For... Read more

Hi!
I'd love to hear what you all--especially the New Yorkers--think about the newly adopted gas ban. Is this the bill we were hoping to see? Any concerns or questions?
One question I have--maybe just reveals my ignorance--but it seems to leave the door open to steam hookups, which I guess are still an option through much of... Read more

I thought I'd reach out and see if anyone has an updated overview presentation like this already pulled together that they'd be willing to share. It's been a while since I've given a presenation on this topic. ... Read more

Hi everyone,
As you may know the ICC has changed the way the IECC will be written in the future and most of us think that will reduce the stringency of the future energy codes that are the biggest lever in the fight against climate change within the buildings sector.
So one of the best pathways forward is via ASHRAE, which has a... Read more

With the holidays coming up and budgeting for 2023 - do we have any information on when and where a mini summit will be? I heard rumors of Arizona? Hoping to come but need the info as soon as I can.

Apologize in advance if this has been posted before but we are trying to get manufacturers of stage curtains to give documentation that proves that the product does not have halogenated fire retardants. I'm wondering if any of you know how to track the GWP for materials that do not have an EPD? I'm trying to do a carbon comparison on batteries but neither one has an EPD that I can find. Thanks for any guidance you may have.

I just saw this post from Conor on LinkedIn.
Starting in January 2019, all new Columbia Construction Company projects require LED temp lighting.
