Hi folks,
It came up on the Regional Leaders call this week that many people aren't aware that we added a link to the BuildingGreen Communities in footer of BuildingGreen.com. So if you want an easy way to get to the forum page, other than clicking on a link in an email, there it is! (Thank you, Stephen Endy!)

The 2018 ENR Green Building Survey is due March 16th. I'm sure you all know the metric they use to evaluate your ranking is solely the revenue from projects pursuing a green building certification in the previous calendar year. Personally, I think this totally bogus. How "green" a contractor is may correlate with how much revenue they have... Read more

Does anyone know about temporary flushout equipment that could be used to augment a building's systems to get additional CFM of OA during construction? We are cautiously rekindling the age-old debate: how are we balancing modeling software for design /visualization and performance analysis during early phase of design.
We are heavy SketchUp users for early design, and most of our staff have access to COVE tool for early performance analysis. Problem is, I’d rather use Revit to COVE... Read more

Hi Green Commons,
It’s been eerily quiet here since Tuesday night. I’ve been quiet mostly because I just didn’t know what to say. The election results are certainly a blow to pretty much everything we’ve been working for. There is so much we don’t know about things might play out, but I’m feeling a range of emotions ranging from... Read more

Fellow SCLers,
This is a small ball item, but I recently had a conversation with a safety glove manufacturer called Traffi. They make PPE, but in particular they have a line of gloves that they promote as carbon neutral. Their organization's operations are offset with retired RECs, but one line of their gloves, LXT, is offset by a... Read more
