Good evening,
I am looking for suggestions to replace"wood" siding at the 25-year-old Lyle Center for Regenerative Studies and as always there is no solution that does it all. There seem to be three main options: wood, composition siding, or fiber cement siding. I am looking for something with low embodied carbon, little maintenance,... Read more

Greetings friends.
Many of you have heard about the CARE Tool, (formerly the 2Build or not 2Build Carbon Calculator.) Dear all,
For a specific existing building application, we are looking for a half inch insulating glazing unit, preferably with low-e coating. Based on my research, 5/8" seems to be doable (1/8" glass + 3/8" air gap + 1/8" glass) but I'm yet to find a viable 1/2" solution. Have you come across any on your projects? Thanks for your... I really enjoyed last week's "Integrative Solutions Jam - Getting Better Materials Into Projects". Thanks BuildingGreen for setting that up. One of the great parts were the break out groups, where 4 of us could dig into various topics more deeply.
