Hi All -
I'm wondering if any of our SDL people have a project case study on designing for deconstruction that they'd like to present on? I know there are a lot of conversations that we should be designing for deconstruction but has anyone done a focused project? Thank you for any input you might have.

Hi all!
A couple years ago now there was an incredible thread here about circadian lighting design and WELL. There was a lot of dipping toes in the water with intent to gather lessons learned and report back.
What have been the high points and low points of circadian lighting design so far? What seems cost-effective and worth... Read more

At our SAL call today, folks were talking about how there was just too much to read about DEI. This is the best short summary I have read about the problems of incorporating it into the organizations where we work. It's much easier to talk the talk than to walk the walk because it takes time and accountability.

With the current push for improved window performance to meet energy codes and Passive House, room side low-e coatings can significantly improve window U-values. I'm wondering if any of you know how to track the GWP for materials that do not have an EPD? I'm trying to do a carbon comparison on batteries but neither one has an EPD that I can find. Thanks for any guidance you may have.

Hi all,
GBD turns 50 this year! I would like to share some examples with leadership of how we can make it more than just an event for clients... something that can give back, engage the public, focus on sustainability, etc. I remember that a Seattle firm had an awesome event that engaged a public plaza, etc. I had read something about it...
