Hi Advising Leaders!

Lets get this forum going by introducing ourselves (yes, I know we mostly know each other, but just to be sure). And sharing what's most exciting and/or bugging us these days. Oh, and if you haven't already, please fill out your BG.com profile with a picture and bio.

I'll start. I'm Nadav, president at... Read more

I'm sure most (if not everyone) is aware that LEEDv5 is under public review until May 20, 2024. I know I need to make time to flip through it, review, and comment, but I'm having a heckuva time protecting the time in my calendar to do that. Anyone interested in joining me for a 60 - 90 minute meeting to do this together as an accountability... Read more

Jenny/Dan:

What types of content do anticipate having in the Documentation Toolkit tab? Here's an example of what we have on LEEDuser:

The layout is a little complicated on LEEDuser, since we had to work with a lot of legacy content, but... Read more

Hi folks,

I hope you've seen the plug to sign onto the letter that's generated a flurry of messages on Green Gurus--I also emailed it out directly to everyone. We've got lots of architects on board, and a handful of engineers, but I think we just have one contractor so far (Thanks Theresa!)--it would be really awesome to have more.

Hello Everyone,

As the staff here at BuildingGreen prepares for our third peer network summit in two months, we'd like to share out the Summit Report from the first online summit with the Sustainable MEP Leaders. We're a little delayed in sharing this with the wider Green Gurus group, but there is still plenty of time to review before... Read more

Hi SD Leaders,

As you may be aware, this past April a group of manufacturers calling themselves the Living Product 50 responded to the letters that many of us sent about five years ago advocating for transparency in their product ingredients.  A copy of that letter can be reviewed about midway through the page at this link:  https://... Greetings,

I posted this a while back on the MEP SDL forum but also wanted to appeal to the broader community.  We need help gathering existing plug/process load data.  We know it is out there!  Two golden stars to Becky Alexander from LHB who reached out to us after this month's meet-up with some useful material.  We need more!  Please... Hello,

Does anyone have experience with USGBC's Green Training Pilot Credit, and/or use of an innovation credit for subcontractor training? I was going to propose training to our subs on becoming an EnviroStars Businesses (WA Green Business Program) and also tie in the Sustainable Contractor's Commitment/project goals.

Hi all,

We've had a number of clients in the states surrounding Texas that have been hit with really high natural gas bills for February. Some as high as $2.00+/therm. Many are healthcare facilities.  Has anyone seen any federal, state, or utility relief programs that are assisting customers with these bills?

Thanks,

I really enjoyed last week's "Integrative Solutions Jam - Getting Better Materials Into Projects".  Thanks BuildingGreen for setting that up.  One of the great parts were the break out groups, where 4 of us could dig into various topics more deeply.

We got into a conversation about circularity and material re-use and Laura Soma with Gly... Read more
