Had I been able to join, I wanted to share this in case... Read more

For consideration in determining CM "Greenness", are we leaders if we wait for city ordinances? can we collectively agree/adopt a standard?

WELL & Fitwel and beyond.
Guiding Questions:
Is this a luxury item? What experiences are people having with these? How do we utilize Health & Wellness based strategies/thresholds in our design approach without going for a certification? How does this apply to our work? Which program has been more broadly adopted? and why? I... Read moreForum topic

See link above, a group of UK building services (MEP) engineers (like us) signed on above, committed to do life cycle carbon (including embodied MEP) in their work.
Are we behind? Should we match them? leap frog ahead of them?
Best,

Though BuildingGreen has long supported the use of electric hand dryers as a more environmentally friendly hand drying option, the majority of evidence appears to support paper towels as a preferred method of controlling the spread of potential pathogens.
And even the most efficient hand dryers contribute significant CO2 to the... Read more

Has anyone developed a disclaimer to be issued with LCA models and reports? I have been asked to look into developing a disclaimer to be used with LCAs, and unfortuantely I have not been able to find past precedence on this.
Thank you,
