I really enjoyed last week's "Integrative Solutions Jam - Getting Better Materials Into Projects". Thanks BuildingGreen for setting that up. One of the great parts were the break out groups, where 4 of us could dig into various topics more deeply.
We got into a conversation about circularity and material re-use and Laura Soma with Gly... Read more

Section 901.5.1.3 of the 2018 IgCC includes a requirement that "A critical review shall be performed by an external expert independent of those performing the LCA." I'm curious as to what other's experiences are with having an external expert review an LCA - how does one find such an expert? Do you have any favorites that you'd recommend? ... Read more

Dear SDL,
After almost 12 years at Sasaki, I have finally decided to leave for a path slightly-less-traveled. My own development project in Boston (passive house, ZNE condos) is in construction and I will be focusing my attention on that over the course of this year, and then hoping to continue doing similar integrated... Hi everyone -

I included the average EUI and weighted EUI, since the latter gives a truer picture of where we are as a studio. In the past, the assumption was we would raise all boats with efforts to improve our practice in... Read more
