Op-Ed
On EBN's Pricing Structure
I read your editorial in the recent issue [July/August ‘93] with great interest, since we too are constantly struggling to provide good information at reasonable cost, yet keep the whole operation afloat financially. It’s not easy.
I think EBN is an excellent publication. Sure it would be nice if the price were lower (who wouldn’t like to spend less?), but given the quality of the information, I think it’s worth it. In fact, compared to many professional newsletters, it’s downright cheap! Have you considered a two- or three-tiered price structure for corporations, small businesses, non-profits, etc.?Al Wasco

We actually have a two-tiered price structure. Along with the standard price of $60/year, large corporations and institutions (25 or more employees) are asked to pay $95/year.
