Insuring the Green Premium for Electricity

A joint effort between the renewable energy industry and federal and state agencies proposes to leverage public funds to dramatically advance the generation of electricity from new renewable energy sources. The Green Power Initiative from the Renewable Energy Alliance (REA) aims to help bridge a financing gap that is constraining the expansion of clean energy generation at a time when demand outstrips supply.
