What is your favorite, tangible example of an EUI?
I find it easy for individuals to undervalue the power of a single EUI and curious what useful parallel the creative folks in this forum have used to illiterate its compounding value?
Cheers!

Hi SCL,
I realize that there are already a couple of threads on this topic, but I didn't see anything from the past year. We have been trying (unsuccessfully) to work with large rental companies to request jobsite trailers that are at a minimum energy efficient, and ideally solar/battery ready and/or built to passive house or similar... Conveniently, we have also just launched the new Peer Networks Hub on BuildingGreen.com, with a Calendar page where you can see all upcoming events (and a link to recordings of past events). You... Read more

If your HVAC designers are addicted to the crack that is Trace 700, and knowing that Trane is giving up on that product in the coming year, what loads program are you weaning* them onto?
Asking for a friend: Have any of you had success in using the Revit plug-in for loads?
*When told that they should use IESVE for loads, our HVAC... Read more

I'm sure we'll learn more soon, but several people have asked on various platforms about how Betsy del Monte is doing (she lives in Asheville, NC, which was hard hit by Hurricane Helene).
I had a brief text exchange with her on Saturday 28 September, and I feel sure that she would be OK with my sharing it with you all:
We’re... Read more

I think they look great - thanks to BuildingGreen for setting this up! A few comments/questions:
Will the Wiggio archive be migrated here or is that gone forever? Is there a way to switch between the two groups after I'm logged in? There seems to be a glitch in the text editor when you enter a hard return - it jumps to the top of the... Read moreForum topic

We are in the process of pursuing the Integrative Process for Health Promotion pilot credit on a project. Has anyone been through the process? What did you learn? How did it change/inform your design? Would you do it again?
Thanks!

I thought some folks here might be interested in a webinar we have coming up this Thursday 12/6 on the topic of best practices for occupant comfort surveys. Although this webinar is part of our Roast launch series, it will be tool agnostic, with information that will be applicable to any occupant survey regardless of tools used.

Hello all,
Does anybody know of a substitute for Ecotect's solar tool? I use it to very quickly test shade options and I love how I can easily test horizontal and vertical elements, tilting and rotating them. I can have a window with the façade on one side and the sun path with the shadow mask on the other side. It is easy to use and... Read more
