Hi folks,
Oregon’s ZERO Coalition is looking for responses to the question below on local policy for electrification, and I thought tapping this group would be helpful.
Are you aware of any local governments outside of Oregon that are promoting or enforcing electrification?
Berkley, CA is one example that as of Jan 1, 2020... Read moreForum topic
Hi MEP Leaders,
I would not normally post a job on this forum, but Placetailor is seeking to hire a mechanical engineer. They are one of only two truly sustainable developers that I've ever heard of. Anyone aware of tools or workflows for modeling of a specific outdoor space and effective surface temperatures? We've done a goodly amoutn of microclimate simulations, but never explicitly factored in the ground surface, in terms of emissivity and other related factors.

We've been doing some work gathering actual energy data on our recent projects. (In January we actually issued a report on 21 public buildings ).
One of the biggest issues is getting access to the actual data - many clients don't want to share.
Has anyone crafted proposal or contract language allowing/requiring design team... Read more

Hello Green Gurus,
I am starting some research on municipal incentives offered to developers seeking to achieve sustainability targets and am wondering what you may have come across in your work, including but not limited to achieving Passive House. In my limited research, here are few I have come across to get us started:
