Has anyone heard of floating solar technology? I can't think of an application other than covering power plant retention or agricultural waste lagoons. Covering up the sun on a natural body of water and adding electrical wiring seems like a bad idea. I am curious though if others have heard of this technology and have other (unbiased) ideas... I will be in NYC for Regenerative Metropolis event at the end of Climate Week NYC. Is anyone else going to Climate Week? Did any events seem particularly worth attending? I've not been before but the only thing I've signed up to is the Nature-Inspired Solutions for a Sustainable Future on Wednesday night at COOKFOX.

The AIA is NOT announcing the COTE Top Ten award winners this Wednesday.  Both the firm and student juries were held last month and winners were chosen.  But the AIA is focused on COVID-19 info only now, restricting other communications.  That is why the COTE newsletter has disappeared from your mailboxes.
