AIA Honors RMI for Collaborative Achievement

The American Institute of Architects (AIA) has announced the recipients of its 2007 Collaborative Achievement Awards, including the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI). The award recognizes individuals and organizations that “have had a beneficial influence on or advanced the architecture profession.” RMI has been instrumental in researching and designing energy-efficient and green buildings. Also recognized was the Association for Preservation Technology International, which promotes technologies used in the conservation of historic buildings and has a strong focus on sustainability.
