Design Resource Awards Call for Entries

If products or materials have memories, what kinds of stories will they tell us? The Design Resource Institute has announced a call for entries that explore this question in their

6th

International Design Resource Awards Competition. Judging criteria will include reused, recycled, or sustainably harvested content as well as potential for reuse and recyclability. Student and professional entries will be judged separately and may be submitted in any of seven categories: furniture, lighting, consumer products, clothing, packaging, building components, or built environments. Winning entries will be shown as part of the Design with Memory exhibit in Kanagawa, Japan and several American cities in 2003. The deadline for initial registration is November 5.
