Designing a Sustainable and Secure World Awards, presented by Global Green USA, the U.S. arm of Green Cross International. The

Hearst Corporation was recognized in the “green building design” category for commissioning the Hearst Tower in New York City, on track to achieve a LEED® Gold rating. The

Enterprise Foundation was given the “organizational design” award for launching the Green Communities Initiative, which will lead to more than $500 million worth of green affordable housing (see
