Kurowski Receives Professional Builder's Achievement Award

Professional Builder magazine awarded a

1998 Professional Achievement Award to developer

John Kurowski, owner of Kurowski Development Co. of Littleton, Colorado, for his leadership in the creation of the Green Builder Program of Colorado. As president of the Home Builders Association of Metro Denver, Kurowski helped launch a $1 million public education and advertising campaign promoting the advantages of green building. The Green Builder Program was formed by the HBA of Metro Denver together with member home builders, the Governor’s office of Energy Conservation, the E-Star Home Energy Rating Program, Public Service Co. of Colorado, and product suppliers. To date, 1,500 qualifying homes have been built.
