SBIC "Best Practice" Sustainability Awards

BuildingGreen is honored to be among the winners of the Sustainable Buildings Industry Council (SBIC) Best Practice Sustainability Awards, announced at Greenbuild:

• Special Achievement in Communications: BuildingGreen, Inc.;

•  Innovative Daylighting System: Solar Components Corporation and  Kalwall Corporation;

•  Sustainable Community Development: ENSAR Group for their green development programs for new communities;

• Commercial Buildings—Renovation: Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr & Huber, Inc. for their whole-building integrated system design; and

• Commercial Buildings—New: PA/DSA Architects for the speculative design of 935 First Avenue Corporate Center in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.

SBIC also recognized two honorable mentions at their awards ceremony:

• Innovative Insulation System: The Polyisocyanurate Insulation Manufacturers Association, and

• Innovative Roofing Solutions (photovoltaic panels and durable TPO/EPDM membrane): Uni-Solar in conjunction with GenFlex.
