News Brief

Sustainable Design, Building + Development Directory for the San Francisco Bay Area

Interior Concerns Environmental Resources, Inc., 131 W. Blithedale Avenue, Mill Valley, California 94941; 415/389-8049, vschomer@interiorconcerns.org (e-mail). 40 pages, paperback, $10 postpaid.

This compact booklet is the first product of a new initiative by Schomer of Interior Concerns—regional directories of green design and construction service providers. The roughly 180 listings are divided into 16 categories, with full contact information and a brief but very useful description of each listing. This effort is sponsored by corporate and local government supporters, so there is no charge for being listed.

Schomer is now at work on the southern California edition. For information about being included, contact Schomer at the above address. The listings will soon be available on the World-Wide Web as well.
