New Editions of EBN Archives and Green Building Advisor Available

Version 5.0 of our acclaimed

EBN Archives is now shipping! This single CD-ROM includes all issues of

Environmental Building News—from 1992 through 2000. A total of 67 issues (1,200 pages) are available in easy-to-use Adobe Acrobat PDF format. The

Archives are fully searchable and provide instant access to all articles exactly as they appeared in print (plus color in more recent issues).

A new feature with this edition is the ability to link to an online database of current manufacturer contact information for the more than 450 products that have been reviewed or described in

EBN. This feature solves the problem of reading about an interesting product, but then being unable to get more information because the company has a new phone number, has moved, or didn’t have a Web site when we wrote it up. We will regularly update this online database. Other features include our updated bibliography of the best information resources on green building, and one-click links to more than three-dozen quick-reference checklists on a variety of green building topics.

EBN Archives is compatible with Windows® and Macintosh™ operating systems. Cost is $95 for

EBN subscribers and $149 for nonsubscribers; upgrades from prior editions are $37 and $79, respectively.
