Updated E Build Library™ CD Helps Track Down Green Building Products

An updated and expanded version 3.0 of the popular E Build Library CD-ROM is now available. This comprehensive archive includes all 47 issues of

Environmental Building News from the very first in 1992 through the end of 1998—fully searchable using Adobe Acrobat® text search or the expanded traditional cumulative index, with more than 4,000 entries.

An exciting new feature solves the common problem of reading about a great product but then being unable to find it because the manufacturer’s address or area code has changed.

EBN’s editors tracked down current contact information for more than 400 products that have been reviewed or described in the newsletter. The original articles now have hotlinks that take the user to the current company contact information—including address, phone, fax, e-mail, and Web site URL.

The CD-ROM also includes a carefully selected bibliography of the best resources available on environmentally responsible design and construction, with annotated listings of more than 230 books, periodicals, software tools, videos, and Web sites. Another new feature in this version is

EBN’s widely used and recently updated

Green Building Checklist.

The E Build Library costs $95 for

EBN subscribers ($149 for others). Upgrades from prior versions cost $37 for

EBN subscribers ($79 for others). The CD is compatible with Microsoft Windows®, Apple Macintosh™, and Unix operating systems. For more information or to order a copy of the E Build Library by phone, call

Environmental Building News at 800/861-0954. Or visit the E Build Web site,

www.BuildingGreen.com, for secure online ordering.
