BuildingGreen Publishes Its 100th Case Study

Seattle’s Traugott Terrace transitional and low-income housing project became the 100th in-depth green project case study available in the

BuildingGreen Suite. Case studies are published through the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE) High Performance Buildings Database. Selected projects in the database are also featured on:

•DOE High Performance Buildings —projects with especially reliable energy data;

•DOE Federal Energy Management Program—federal agency projects;

•U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC)—LEED® certified projects;

•Cascadia Chapter of USGBC—projects in Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia;

•The American Institute of Architects—current and past Top Ten Green Projects.

Anyone can log in and enter a project into the database. Submitted projects are then reviewed by the participating organizations, and each can publish the projects that meet its requirements.
