We have a project installing solid wood, (untreated) for the window sills & some baseboards. The reference guide indicates the sills & baseboards would fall under the "walls" category (I think), which then might even follow the "built in cabinetry" (I think). Regardless, how does one treat this for emissions criteria? I doubt that it had emissions criteria at all, but it seems like a grey area in a way. Some of the sills are at floor level, while some are about regular height. Since the ceilings/walls/thermal/acoustic insulation category needs to be met 100% of all products, this one would ding us that category. Does anybody have experience with how to categorize this product or are we doomed without it having emissions testing? Thanks!

If our company manufactures disinfectant products that bear the EcoLogo and Green Seal certification, is it necessary to still use a cleaning vendor with those certifications, if they are going to be using our products?

our project is connected to an existing building on the same lot. Can we exclude the existing building's roof surface from our credit calculations?

I would like to know if there have ever been special considerations for the FAR calculation, like when considering a municipal pavilion with a park for example? In my specific situation, there will be a big ice rink surface, which will be covered up with lounge spaces and planters in the summer. The roof of the pavilion will be mostly green with indigenous plants, but seeing as the FAR calculation is only at 1.03, I cannot use it towards reaching credit requirements. Anybody know of any prior exceptions that could help us out?

Are existing buildings that are not schools still able to get a points for composting food waste? Can it be included in the calculations of ongoing solid waste?

Sorry if this is a repetitive question, but just need clarification- we are meant to be weighing batteries such as AAAs and AAs prior to disposal? and same with light bulbs?

Our project includes a community center and a multi-residential part. The reference guide requires the following:
-Install appliances, equipment, and processes within the project scope that meet the requirements listed in the tables like the clothes washers and the dishwashers.
We have residential units within the project scope but it's not our intention to provide the appliances. Is it mandatory to provide those or only if we do it we have to provide compliant appliances?

can you give your reviews what are the probable reason for peaks in LEED projects during 2009-10 and can same be predicted for 2017-18? We all know how LEED has became famous and its interesting to note such peaks.
